with wins in all IB matches played and suffered only one loss In games In the opening round pool of games Georgetown split with a strong Scarborough Cosmos club winning isfi and losing For the locals this proved to be the only tune they would be beaten In age class competition Despite a lethargic start In their nest match against Ottawa Glashan Georgetown came out on lop by scores of 1510 In their final preliminary match against Pickering the Georgetown team turned up the In tensity and came away with con vindngwinsof By virtue of their record in the open pool Georgetown earned top pot in the division and advanced to semi fine action Georgetown continued their fine ploy through the semi finals and cosily disposed of Toronto by scores of 159 In the other semi final match up the favored Henry Hudson was upset by the Scarborough Cosmos two games to one medals had emerged from the pool In t roared out on to post a victory as the Casinos staged a dramatic com eback In the second game it was the Cosmos tuna to tale control u they But with strong serving by Jen nifer Cheevers and a attltude exhibited by the entire team Georgetown fought back to tie the game at and went on to outlast the Cosmos 1715 giving them a sweep of the gold medal match Members of the teams coaching staff Jim Atkinson Dave and Brian were understandably pleased with the ac complishments of the team and
