year Is What did you do on your summer vacation This year local teachers at Georgetown District High School were asked how they spent their summer break Mr A FlnJayson Head of the Social Science Department took a Mothers morning group forming If you re like most young mothers you occasionally need some time to call your own The Georgetown Mothers Mom ing Out program would like to help you find that time Starting Oct and continuing each Thursday thereafter from 9 30 to 1130 am Georgetown Mothers Morning Out group will be meeting in a local downtown Church The program Is designed to pro vide support and self help informa ion to mothers of preschoolers who wish to enhance their ting skills or feel Isolated because they are far from their family or friends ie weekly morning out provide an opportunity to listen to interesting speakers par tidpate In lively discussions learn new skills and make new friends The free program also provides preschoolers with a chance to In with other children and adults in a stimulating play en vironment Activities include storytelling dress up and songs Child core is provided by volunteer leaders Transportation is provided for those who require
