THE HERALD Wednetday March 1 1WJ- Page a Southon leads women Some people read the column to find out what has gone before Some people read because they find the column interesting Some people purely to see if their name is included Hopefully the column is mostly all of these items newsworthy interesting and nam ing names of a particular achieve ment or two It is not always possible to do everything all at once Information is not always at hand perhaps there are too many individual highlights to name all and sometimes I miss the odd moment Sometimes a lack of space or time is the reason Last week I missed out the girls team achievement at the Legion zones The girls led by Monica won two and lost two in their round robin play one of the wins coming over the George team One more win and they would have probably joined the male team of Beau Beaumont Eric Fuller Brian Hicks Ron Scarlett and self this past weekend They might have done better than we as we failed to sur vive the first round losing three and winning three in the effort There is always next year I Time Out I continue to lead the Monday night Halton division rf the Peel Region League A repeat of the previous snot Paul Kirby shot three and Marty Wheeler stepped in with With the singles going 33 at one stage it looked as though Brackens were going to put up a fight to the end However the next two singles
