power to get a win on the road in Minor Atom playoffs At the drop of the puck it was clear that Georgetown came to play Robbie Pilgrim got the first goal right off the faceoff with an assist by Gary Shortly after Gary fired a second shot at goal a hard one off the end boards and the rebound sat right out in front of the net for Pete Mashinterto put away Garys hustle put another tally up for an early 30 lead All the were playing effectively together each did his job well Burlington regained their com posure and treated the spectators to some pretty three man attacks which netted them two Only the commendable play by our entire team kept us in the game The skating and checking by Chris and Andy Kerslake should be noted as they killed penalties On the defence Chris Corney seemed to be everywhere on the ice for long stretches From the fans and the coaches were cheers and praise for for wards defence and goalies tru ly a team effort to win Public swims There will be public swimming
