taken place throughout Oakville during the past several months Windows in bus shelters have been the main target for the van dals There has been however a marked increase in damage reported to school windows and store front windows as well as vehicle windshields Police investigators have determined that the majority of the damage is being caused by the use of a slingshottype weapon using ball bearings lead weights or glass marbles In one incident witnesses reported a brown car possible a Chevrolet with four occupants stopped beside a bus shelter One of the occupants shot out the win dows
