street but to the cast of Georgetown Globe Productions Some Enchanted Evening they are part of the pro duction team a group of people working long and hard to ensure that youre treated to another fabulous supper theatre The Producer of this springs show is George Smart Youve never seen George on Globes stage but hes been there for four years working diligently behind the scenes George also has the role of being Globes resident carpenter for which he puts m long hours of his own time con struchng and building sets and props you see during every Globe performance An year Georgetown resident this is Georges first taste of producing a show and from all accounts hes doing a great job And being a producer is no small task It is Georges job to ensure that all aspects of the show run as smooth as clock work from recruiting department heads to ob taining scripts and librettos ar ranging rehearsals and facilities preparing budgets and arranging all the behind thescenes work And thats only part of what the producer does Such a demanding job needs help and George Smart has found a perfect Assistant Producer in Nana McNeil has been a dedicated Globe member for five- and a half years Whether shes on stage or not Nanci is always work behind the scenes painting sets handing out props selling tickets decorating the dressing rooms putting up posters and do ing whatever she can to let everyone know about Globes next great show When not involved with the theatre Nanci attends to her real job as a probation officer Nanci brings years of experience to her current role as Assistant
