committee Deputy Chief John said he has been contacted by Frank the director of develop ment review at Region He would not say what they talk ed about but he did say he had given Mr Crann advice about a matter concerning the land divi sion committee Mr Crann acknowledged hear ing rumors about a police in vestigation into committee deal but he said there is no con firmation of such an investigation sit on the com mittee The eightmember committee is now reduced to six people but only three members are required for a quorum at any hearing The current land division com- mittee will sit until a new com mittee is appointed a few mon ths Mr Procter said health reasons and a heavy workload arising from his membership on the land division committee and Oakvilles committee of adjust ment pushed him
