landfill site at the Acton Quarry has been named Acton Citizen of the Year by the Acton branch of the Hills Chamber of Commerce The Acton branch chose the 300- POWER Protect Our Water and Environmental Resources group last week because of all the hours theyve put in and the work theyve done to help Acton keep the dump out of this community said former Ac ton Chamber of Commerce dent Mike Manes Mr Manes said POWER had done a good job fighting for the citizens of the community We fed very honored that they have recognized us and what we ve been doing over the past few years said
