Womens In stitute of Ontario She brought greetings from the province and mentioned some of her respon sibilities There was an interesting report of the District Annual Meeting which was held in Inglewood United Church given by Eleanor The roll calls included a travel experience and in formative session with Cyr from Travel Agency There was an 80mimite video presenta tion and a question period after ward Muriel Lyons described three in teresting trips she had taken in cluding a canal trip in England a trip to Bavaria and an inside passage to Alaska Courtesies were given to end the meeting by Eileen The June meeting will be a tour of the Elora and Fergus areas year ago include Ralph Rock of Cambridge Anne Hamilton of Kit chener Iris Secular of Breslau and Rowland Davies of Elora to hospital or shopping babysitting visiting advanced- stage patients and helping in publicawareness activities Mr expressed much ap preciation for the trailblazing done by Guelphs Brenda Bates who with her late husband Keith founded the original Guelph Chapter Much help has also come from area residents including Lome Voll of Waterloo whose wife learned she had ALS last December Mary Lou Little of Kit chener whose father died of the disease Theresa Markus of Kit chener whose husband a relative ly young man was an ALS casualty leaving three young children A substantial moralebooster has come with the founding of the Trillium Funded Ontario Chapter Mr Doole said Indefatigable Jack a nineyear ALS paraplegic is president His vicepresident is Guelphs Elinor Knight who also doubles as
