have done your share in the past when you were able to do so Drug awareness presentation The Kennedy Connection Parents Association is hosting a special Drug Awareness presentation at George Kennedy Public School on Wednesday May 31 beginning at 8 The Kennedy Connection will elect its new executive for 1969 prior to the presentation at 7 30 Open Doors were swinging in May Herald Special We have really can t believe how little time is left before summer vaca starts Its almost scary Now there s less than school days and I am faced with the question of What exactly am I going to do with all of my spare time From where I stand I feel that I have three options Get a job you lazy bum 2 Take a summer course to fur your education yeah right 3 Laze around and catch up on the soaps Its basically no contest there but ever since Cruz and Eden got their baby back it just isn t the same After all of the build up we final ly found out what all of the mysterious posters were all about The big and hairy cookie monster along with the rest of the athletic department were and pro bably still are selling cookies to the rest of the students Sort of the Rebel version of Girl Guides I guess I think that sports for this year are almost at a close and the cookies along with the Rebel ban quet will come off without a sweat pardon the pun After the long weekend which in cluded BangORama et al no one seemed too pleased to come back to school Not really for the obivous reason but rather because per cent of the students looked like they took part in BumORama Screams have been heard bellow down the halls as friends slap ped their burnt buddies on their backs trying to say a friendly hello Thats it for me but unless you decide to stay out of the sun I recommend at least a number sunscreen for
