Midget Eagles rep baseball squad last week as the locals split a pair of contests On June the Eagles were grounded by Clarkson after opening tbe week on a winning note with a 87 squeaker over Milton May 31 Against Clarkson Georgetown played well defensively but couldnt find the bats managing only five hits three by Adam Hagen and a pair by Scott Van de Valk However Georgetown managed to strand Clarkson with bases load ed twice as the Eagles turned in one of their best defensive per formances to date Dave Ridley made an excellent catch to end one Clarkson rally and Eddie Doyle struck out the final batter to end another Both Van Valk and Doyle pitched well for Georgetown On May 31 Mike Bobby and Kevin Usher led the way for the Eagles with two hits apiece Jeff Hannah Adam Hagen John Butler
