of re cent drubbings from Acton as the North based girls pushed their overall season record to a spotless As a result of their unblemished slate Acton will appear in the pro vincial regional tournament set for Aug In a twogame series with two weeks ago Acton whipped its opponent by a combin score of 3820 A Acton win on June 27 wrapped up the home- and home tussle for the local girls after they opened the set with a big 2512 victory ACTON ROCKWOOD 8 Kelly Ambrose and Super Legs Louth were the ter of the basepaths for Acton with Ambrose making four out of five a steal attempts while Louth went a perfect 5for 5 Ambrose hit for 3 and had three runs while Louth smacked a pair and had two runs had three runs and a pie Tracy Hagan had a double and a triple peewee rep call up Lisa Louth showed some great hustle with three steals and Lesley also stole three bases Heather fine catching performance with the oat nailing three hits and picking up a trio of RBIs Jennifer Lee played well at first base Acton hosts tonight before travelling to Cheltenham tomorrow This years bantam squad is coached by John Kwiatkowski with assistance from Elmer Lucas and Bottero Hoosiers hold their
