Geraldine daughter of John and of Ont and William J Deenik son of William C and Rita Deenik RRl were united in marriage by Pastor Con Baskets of multicolored flowers decorated the church and organist Mutcher played the wed ding music Attending the bride was maid of honor Hill of Mount Forest friend of the bride Bridesmaids were her sisters Christine and Bonnie Vaccher both of Murillo Flower girl was Jennifer Vac and bearer was Dennis Vaccher niece and nephew of the bride Brad Lindner of was the groomsman and ushers were Brian brother of the groom and Neil Mechen friend of the groom from Also attending the wedding were the groom s sister Debbie and her husband Ron of Milverton who flew up to Thunder Bay for the weekend Guy Wilson will be missed NORVAL One of Norval s oldest area farmers Guy Wilson passed away at the Milton Hospital on Aug in his 95th year He had farmed all his life and when he and Jeannie were married they took up farming on the Line Lot at RRl Norval They had two children daughter Ruth Wilson Moore of Orton and son Earl Wilson deceased Following the death of his wife he married Eunice Moore of Grand Valley in Even though he was mourning the loss of his only son he was happy to know his grandson David was taking over the farm where his dad left off Guy was a good neighbor and farmer and had a healthy respect for the good earth He was a devoted family man a member of Norval United Church where he held many offices including honourary elder Despite a bad hip Guy still persevered with jobs like cutting grass when most people would have given up w 26
