following two heartbreaking extra inning losses to Cheltenham this week in the Halton Rural bantam girls league bestof five playoff pionship series The Hisaki bantams won the championship series opener Sept 11 in Acton and seemed well on course for the playoff pionship crown However the Acton team lost 11 10 Monday night in Cheltenham then bowed 12 to Cheltenham in Acton Wednesday night to put a clamper on the club s champion ship aspirations The fourth and possibly deciding game in the playoff championship series for Friday night in Cheltenham Unfortunately at press time results were not available Should the bantams yield the league title to Cheltenham it would be a disap pointing end to an otherwise outstanding season The Acton squad romped to the league regular season top spot
