Good to Dennis and fimilv this time TON I I AGUF The recenl situation over the player move is yet settled I understand The final decision on the points is to be dealt with at a teams captains meeting In the meantime play carries on as usual All the wint in double figures last Monday Tooles and Copper Kettle both scored II I and Station House both scored and Time Out I scored High finishes came from Ged Williams 120 Rick Harden 104 Roger Newman 101 and Tony Marrows Highest score came from the darts and arm of Jim Frank with Hugh Smid pun ching three 140s and Scott and Ron Scarlett two 140s each Several players scored single and seven players made the magical plus marker Time Out gained three singles points from O and that was that Quietly O Tooles have moved into third place with results over the past few weeks McGibbon II also took three points two singles and a doubles from Copper Kettle il Kettle move up one spot to eighth O Tooles I with player problems at the moment took- four points from I the second place team Two singles and two doubles wins were the winning games for the visitors McGibbon lads are on Iy six points adrift Four points also for Raspers at Station House took the last three singles and the last ble House moe up one place to sixth Finally Copper Kettle I made only one point and that in the last singles against Time Out I remain ahead at the top of the standings This year however the lead is much less than last year at the same stage of the season There is no doubt that the clash between the two leaders shortly will be crucial in the run in for the remainder of the season The league is hosting an open mixed doubles tourney this coming Saturday at the Georgetown Ar mones registration at a m INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE The first round of double headers took place and the first dart was not thrown until nearly 30 p and the last dart at 22 a We need earlier starting on double header nights and certainly earlier finishing Some teams waited almost an hour between matches for opponents Be early and start early and finish in reasonable time lads is the message Hustlers remain undefeated yet it was fortune smil ing upon them in the first match over Steeprock followed by over High Rollers Casketman Cut GEORGETOWN CUSTOM CAR SOUND THE CAB STEREO EXPERT 8772425 Darts ALEX TOUGH picked up one point in the raw with and wins A win and a loss for third place keeps them in third Exports slip into fourth with a win and loss Must say that Cutters are a revelation m the first division put in a full challenge for the sion lead Bottom teams Golden Flights and Acadian Pools also won one game each and it is good to see them get some wins In the second division double double headers for Outlaws Firemen and have chang ed the division standings if I am correct in my assumption that this past week was the catch up week in matches The Rebels team have missed a couple of weeks and may be out of the league and more changes may be required in the tables As it is for the moment Firemen move into- first place over Independents and slumping Pan thers Aces are fourth and Power of Pain drop a couple of spots Strong individual performances came from Jim Watson Hunter Carroll Mark See Paul Kirby Ron Scarlett Murphy and Marty Glaude Brad Hale began with a high Ron Scarlett with Hugh Smid and See also and Ray with 101 Kevin
