you planning a wedding in the near future Have you also prepared for he marriage If one were to take a poll of couples plan to be married in the near future the results would probably show few intend to have their mar fail Rather most if not all of them hope that their marnage is permanent life long But what will help them meet that expecta lion One way would be for couples to investigate the strong points of their relationship and the possible problems that arise in marnage which could strain the relationship between husband and wife Hopefully this would also enrich and strengthen a marriage and get it off on the right foot This has been the intention of the Georgetown Ministerial in establishing the Halton Hills Ecumenical Preparation Course Ministers from the churches of Georgetown have enlisted the aid of Glad Bryce a marriage and family therapist to lead and co ordinate this workshop Through a vanetj of methods couples who attend will be helped to develop skills and gain insights that should benefit their marriage In addition to the opportunities to develop communication skills im portant issues will be brought for ward and discussed ones which might be easily overlooked by engaged couples because they seem to be only distant or remote possibilities As well specialists from the community will add in formation on areas that relate to giving a well rounded view of what to expect in the future The next sess is to be offered will be in February of next year Two different sets of sessions are being offered The first plan meets each Tuesday night in February Feb 20 at St George s Anglican Church Georgetown from 30 p m The second plan is a weekend for mat meeting on Feb 16 and at St Andrew s United Churcli Georgetown from 30 10 and from m Saturday
