ner has ended speculation and is stepping down as Georgetown Pontiac Raiders president and won contest the position in the Raiders executive elections scheduled for March 30 p at the Cultural Centre on Church Street In a letter delivered Tuesday to Raider secretary Vicki Pasma and released for publication Kent cited increasing business demands as the main reason for him relinquishing the office of team president Kentner is town on vaca tion and t be reached for further comments on his decision In his letter Kentner had nothing but praise for his fellow behind the scene Raider co workers I am announc ed that he will be the Raider presidency I intend to support Finn in his effort to be elected president Kentner wrote and I encourage you and all our ex to support him a longtime member of the various organiza tions stated that the main reason he was running was because of Kentner decision to step down I want to ensure that the con and the stability brought to the Raider organization by Dave Kentner carries on Poulstrup said in a telephone interview Poulstrup has some ideas of his own concerning which direction the Raiders organization should take but felt it imprudent to discuss his ideas until after the Raiders executive elections which he is hoping will see him ac cept the president chair Poulstrup has been associated with the Junior Raiders for the last four years but his roots as member of Raider organizations goes back much further to He served as a director for two years and as a vicepresident for four years with the Raider In termediates organization He served for
