Prayer The World Day of Prayer was observed by the ladies of United and Presbyterian Chur in the Presbyterian Church on Friday March at 10 a m The theme On the Journey Together was prepared by the Women of Kenya and was presented by the women of both churches Several artifacts and an il lustrated book of Kenya and its people loaned by a lady who had been in Kenya were interesting and in understanding the customs of the people of Kenya who are attempting to improve the quality of life by striving for more education for their children and better use of land for increased food production The Women of Kenya are very involved in improving both of these projects McClure welcomed the group and readers were Hamilton and Isabel McClure Doris Sharpe played for the hymns Dorothy the Club The group is studying local history These studies are unique as they go beyond pioneer times back to when Indians lived in the area Personal family history is also being looked at One meeting
