Little Theatre was absolutely delighted with the response to the questionaires issued during their last Hon Charing Cross Road Almost 35 of the audience fill ed them in during the tedious in between thrilling acts giv ing us lots of information about what you like and dislike about us and the theatre what youd like to see us perform and how you think we are already performing Im happy to say that most people were satisfied with the job were doing but that we will investigate all the negative comments too Thank you all very much for participating and congratula tions to the winners who were Ken the new year Nor vals Club 2000 is taking on a more jazzedup look said Club General Manager Daniel The club has taken steps in cluding the hosting of an increas ed number of all ages concerts and the use of independent pro moters in an attempt to make the club more appealing to a wider variety of people said Mr during a telephone in terview Tuesday Were going to jazz things us by showcasing less familiar types of music such as reggae he said As well Mr Bragioni said the number of all age concerts will be increased from once a month tolhree times a month The General Manager is also using local promoters such as Joe Pinto more commonly known as Little Joe to bring new ideas to the club Contacted Tuesday Mr Pinto said the acts he brings into Club showcase classic rock talent There will be a mix of original tribute and cover bands he said Tribute bands play the material of a particular famous group while cover bands play material Liona Boyd visits Brampton Boyd will be performing at Bramptons Rentage Theatre on Match Acknowledged as one of the worlds leading classical guitarists Miss Boyds concert is a replacement for cellist Albin Berky who is unable to perform Through her composition talents extensive international touring and sixteen record albums she has developed a loyal following throughout the world Boyd has played for fans across international political borders not only has she given Fidel Castro a command per she has also perform ed for the British Royal Family the King and Queen of Spain the President of the United States the Pnme Ministers of Canada and Britain and the Chancellor of Germany as well as at NATO and Summit Conferences The Liona Boyd concert tickets are priced at 50 20 50 for seniors plus applicable goods and service tax The Heritage
