new Business Names Act pro claimed today includes com panies in the previouslyexempt service industry Past- laws regulating business names applied only to those in manufacturing trade or mining Businesses such as consultants hairdressers and building con tractors were not required to register But under the new act they must register their business names by November 30 1991 with the Companies
