years Debbies mother Marge and sisters Penny and Donna and her brothers Tom and Brian all live in Georgetown Debbie attended Norval Public School Stewarttqwn Senior Public and graduated from Georgetown District High School in 1968 After graduation Debbie was employed at the former Provincial Paper Com pany Debbie moved to Los Alamos New Mexico USA in 1975 and became an American citizen in She is now employed by the Los Alamos National Laboratories Defence Depart Los Alamos New Mexico is located 30 miles outside of Santa The town is nestled 7300 ft up the beautiful Moun tains Debbie travelled to Geneva Switzerland to attend talks con Nuclear Testings Arms Control Agreements have become a major element of na tional security policy and signifi cant focus of political strategy for the United States Los Alamos National Laboratories developed the techniques to measure and monitor nuclear testing tions for arms control have been ongoing over several years The Treaty was Entered into Force in January 1991 The team in Los Alamos responsible for the involved and sensitive Arms Control talks in Geneva were recently recogniz ed for their efforts for weapons programs An Award of Ex cellence was presented to them for the Department of Energy in Washington DC US Admiral travelled to Los Alamos to make the presentation and to at tend a reception Debbie and her 12yearold son Cale travel home to Georgetown most summers to visit with and friends Former Norval resident Debbie Reynolds Jones is involved in research designed to measure and monitor nuclear testing as part of a U S team based in Los Alamos New Mexico Ms Jones recently tourneyed to Geneva Switzerland to attend talks concerning arms control and the team was recognized with an Award of Excellence by the U S
