visitors enjoying eating at Mount Vesuvio Restaurant Bramp ton Following dinner members met at the home of Eleanor Hyatt Pres Jean May presided and following the opening exercises called on Mae Brander to in the program Mae introduced her eight year old granddaughter Ashley Brander who played three short piano solos When the Saints Mary Anne and Serenade Mae then introduced year old Kelly Little from the Region of York who is the Ontario Dairy Princess Kelly won her title at the last August when she competed with County and District Dairy Kelly is the daughter of Barry and Little Kelly has a twin sister Kim and brother Chris 19 Kelly family milk 50 registered Jersey s on a 200acre operation near Markham Kelly is a granddaughter of Allan and Jean Harrop formerly of 2 now residing at Brampton Kelly just returned from a three week to England and Ireland where she attended the Royal Dairy Show and was elated to meet Prince Charles and speak for a few minutes that made the highlight of her trip Kelly is employed by the Ont Milk Marketing Board for one year and speaks to schools and at community events throughout the province for the dairy in dustry Kelly demonstrated and Rotary women members will bring the club into the 1990 Women tend to be well organized and have a stick type attitude which will be very important to our club states Mr Walker I m very happy says Ms Phenix who sees more women becoming members of the Rotary Club in the near future I don think of myself as the first woman in the club I think of myself as a Ms Phenix the spouse of Rotary Club member Neville Worsnop who has been in the restaurant and hospitality business for 15 years President Ian Walker read the induction ceremony and presented Ms Phenix with the Rotary lub Guidelines books and on June Clark Lyons called on Rev Walter Beecham who is leaving our church at the end of June to fill in at Clark thanked Walter on behalf of the congrega and presented him with a pair of white resin
