Friday August 9 Communfty Acton Fall Fair Junior Categories Youth Forum Dear Parents Are your children driving you up the wall this summer Are they constant ly shooting your ideas down because they are too boring or are you shooting their ideas down because they are too expensive Now both parties can be satisfied The Georgetown Fall Fair and the Acton Fall Fair both this September will be holding a junior category for most of their contests like crafts sewing art baking and flower arranging While the Fall Fair is still a lit tle ways off- you can keep your children busy and content by mg them create something fox one or more of these contests Below is a list of the various contests run by the Acton Fall more information in Georgetown at or Marilyn Patterson HOMECRAFT DIRECTORS SPECIAL A special prize will be donated by Ihe Directors to the exhibitors winning Ihe most points in the Junior Work Group A Group B Group C classes COLLECTIONS Collection of your favourfte buttons mounted on 9 GROUP Ages 12 16 years BAKING Pumpkin 3 Iced chocolate brownies Cupcakes 3 iced and decorated for a birthday party 1 piece of Apple pie 4 ways of serving apples arranged on a tray or box
