families are in need there is always a response from within the com munity Over the years at Acton Social Services we have been approached by individuals schools stores banks and other groups who wish to give in the Christmas spirit Any money donated is used to buy needed clothing and bedding for families We have already had some gifts donated but more items are greatly needed as we expect that this year Acton over 50 families will be in need of assistance The families we are aware of are in the position where they cannot provide the extras for their families at Christmas They are in need of such items as knitted quilts blankets gloves hats and other winter clothing items Any family individual or business who feels they would like to help with this Christmas Coordination can call our office at 8533310 or in to the Centre at 19 Willow Street Acton Mon day to Friday 830430 Your assistance is greatly appreciated Do you have a truck At Acton Social Services we are occasionally asked
