festivities at Our annual drive in con junction with the Lioness Club will begin on Monday December 9 This is a twoweek campaign Dried goods and non perishable foods are needed Our thanks Mr Genore and his students for their community spirit We are also involved in the an Toys for Tots campaign Your donation of new toys or cash will help to ensure that no child in Halton Hills goes without a new toy this Christmas morn ing Our thanks to Mr Cotton and the Student Athletic Association for their support of this project Our grade classes will also be conducting a bake sale on Mon day December 9 and day December to raise money for Toys for Tots Your support for both these projects particularly in this time of economic recession is greatly appreciated Our annual Concert will be held on Wednesday December in our cafetonum beginning at 30 p m Our instrumental and choral groups will be performing to br us into the spirit of the season Admission will be for adults 3 for children and teens or per family We will also be having a special breakfast for grade students and their senior mentors on day December 13 from 30 a m to Tickets will be sold by class reps prior to the event What better way to think about Christmas than to have little children in our school For the next two weeks we will be having 27 preschool children at GDHS as part of our bi annual Play School project The girls and boys in our Grade Parenting Course under the direction of Mrs Met and Mrs Wilson will be learning first hand how to parent little ones The last day of classes this year will be Friday December 20 As in the past we will operate on a special schedule with the staff performing their annual skit for the entertainment of the student body Happy to the Jewish families in our community
