Retired Works Superintendent, Towns of Acton and Halton Hills, Member of Halton Hills Fire Department, District 1, District Chief (Retired) and Member of the Acton Masonic Lodge Alf passed away at the Georgetown Hospital on Monday, January 25th, 2010, in his 89th year. He was the beloved husband of Doris Bilton for more than 69 years and the proud and loving father of Robert and his wife Mardelle (Georgetown), Judi and her late husband David Shannon (Acton) and Nancy and her husband Ian Carrigan (Edmonton). He will be missed by his grandchildren: Michael Shannon, Brad Duby, Kelly (Shannon) and Ian Montgomery and Alison (Duby) and Chris Kraemer and his greatgranddaughters Julia and Madalynn Montgomery. Alf is survived by: his sisters, Lucy and her husband Leo Synnott and Margaret and her husband Gord Cox and his sisters-in-law Donna Duby and Marjorie Tennant.
