Is that you? Classes run once per week, day and evening in three-hour sessions. Tutoring programs are also available to assist adults with upgrading their reading, writing and/or basic math skills on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. LNH is seeking volunteer members to serve on the board. If you have an interest in adult literacy and experience serving on a non-profit board, this may be a good opportunity to serve your community. A Snowshoeing 101 workshop will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 11-11:30 a.m. at Terra Cotta Conservation Area, 14452 Winston Churchill Blvd. Learn the basics of snowshoeing-- this program is intended for those who have never been snowshoeing but all skill levels are welcome. At the end of the morning, enjoy a hot beverage in the Watershed Learning Centre. Dress appropriately for the weather. Snowshoe rental is included. Free with regular admission.
