Georgetown had lost the three previous games with the ninth-place Jr. Sabres this season but scored three times in the second period and twice more in the final frame to break up a 3-3 tie and eventually win 5-3. The Jaguars also received goals from Brendan Krivec and Chris Guerette to cap off a 6-0 run at the Burlington tourney. CtK's boys went undefeated through the preliminary round, beating M.M. Robinson 4-0, Algonquin 6-3 and LaSalle 2-1. The Jags went on to defeat Waterdown 6-1 in the quarterfinals before ousting Franco Cite of Sturgeon Falls 3-2 in the semis. The Jaguars made The Toronto Star's top-10 list of rankings for Greater Toronto Area teams earlier this season and have posted a 29-5-4 record to date. In regular-season action, Christ the King's boys defeated M.M. Robinson 4-2 on Tuesday on goals by Krivec, Troy Breen, Skweres and Dylan Hanzelka to improve to 6-1-1 in the HSSAA Tier I division. Jordan Dance had the lone goal for the Georgetown Rebels in their 4-1 loss to first-place Notre Dame. Darling dominates Maggie Darling (9) of the Georgetown Rebels was a dominant force at the net in her team's 25-19, 25-16 victory over the host Christ the King Jaguars Tuesday in Halton high school senior girls' volleyball action. The Rebels are the only unbeaten team in the AAAA division with an 8-0 record, while the Jaguars dropped to 5-4 with the loss.
