The event, to celebrate Garneau's second anniversary of her 66 Main St. S. studio, where she helps individuals connect to their innate intuition, wisdom, and healing abilities, is being held on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 3-8 p.m. each day. Local entrepreneurs have been invited to showcase their creations at her studio over the two days and each of these participants donated an item for a raffle in support of the Georgetown Bread Basket. Residents attending the Open House will get a raffle ticket for every $3 or organic food item donated. Participating entrepreneurs are all young women (between the ages of 30 and 35) who all have built a business around their passion. "I think it's very interesting that we all found a way to make our passion our business, whether it's baking, making jewelry, being an artist or giving massages. We all also focus on health and well being," said Garneau. "For us it's about quality of life and being healthy in all aspects of ourselves. This is why we chose to do a food drive to raise healthy organic food. We believe the food bank gets enough Kraft dinner and other low nutrient foods so we want to focus on gifting nourishing foods. This very much reflects the nature of our businesses, which are to nourish various aspects of the individual." Garneau can be reached at 905783-8853 or www.chantalgarneau. com.
