Christ the King Catholic Secondary School recently hosted an Inside Ride and a number of other activities in order to raise funds for a classmate who is battling cancer. Moriah Kolenda, who recently had a leg amputated due to the disease, was able to visit her school to see first-hand the hard work of CtK students and teachers, who raised a record amount of about $29,000. Seventy-eight teams of six pedalled on stationary bikes during the day for the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, which has set out to fight childhood cancers.
