The Amendment to the Caledon Official Plan is also consistent with those of recently adopted Regional Official Plan Amendments completed through the Peel Regional Official Plan Review. Approval Official Plan Amendment 226 requires approval from the Region of Peel. Official Plan Amendment 226 has been submitted to the Region of Peel for approval. Concerns respecting the amendment may be sent to the Region of Peel. Subject to certain conditions, a decision by the Region of Peel on Official Plan 226 or the failure by the Region of Peel to make a decision may be appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board, consistent with Section 17, subsection (36) and (40) of the Planning Act.
