Halton Hills was the place to be on Father's Day weekend when the town was overrun with delighted dads and fun-loving families during the first ever Big Daddy Festival. Organized by the Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable, the weekend-long festival included a wide variety of events in Acton, Georgetown, Norval, Glen Williams and Limehouse. Between the fishing derbies, mini-hikes, live entertainment, art workshops, delicious food, classic car shows, road hockey, interactive demonstrations and motorcycle shows, there was something for every dad at the Big Daddy Festival! In Willow Park, Derek Betty and Pat Kelly from the Izaak Walton Fly Fishing Club teach Margaret O'Flaherty and Helen Quinn how to tie a fly. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE SUCCESS OF THE 1ST ANNUAL BIG DADDY FESTIVAL As a member of this community, I was very proud to participate in this event.
