With the figure skating season right around the corner, members of the Georgetown Skating Club were out in the community on August 21 collecting empty beer, wine and liquor bottles during their bottle drive fundraiser. Skaters and parent volunteers drove around Georgetown collecting donations left outside their neighbours' houses before heading to the Beer Store to sort and return the bottles. The total amount raised is still being calculated, but organizers estimate this year's bottle drive to be the club's most successful yet. Congratulations! Photos by Andrea Lefebvre
