A record number of cyclists from all over Ontario flocked to Terra Cotta on the Civic Holiday to participate in the sixth annual Le Tour de Terra Cotta. The closed-course road race, which shut down much of the village and many of the surrounding roads for the day, took 425 avid cyclists on a scenic tour of Terra Cotta. This year's event included a youth race for ages eight to 16 and a 27-kilometre adult short course race in addition to the main event: the 108-kilometre Classic Tour.
