Georgetown Little Theatre proudly launches their 50th season with Frederick Knott's spine-tingling thriller Wait Until Dark. An innocent blind woman is stalked by three gang members who believe she is in possession of a doll that they are very interested in acquiring. This electrifying thriller, directed by Doug Feggans, is full of terrifying plot twists and nail-biting suspense. Performances take place November 4 to 6 and 10 to 13 at 8 p.m at the John Elliott Theatre. A wine and cheese reception will be held after the opening night performance on November 4. Photos by Andrea Lefebvre Glen Williams artist Jennifer Martinec is preparing for her upcoming art show "Seasons in the Sun," which runs October 18 to 30 at Art Effects (348 Guelph Street, Georgetown). The show will include a collection of Halton Hills landscapes done in pastel, acrylic and mixed media. Jennifer will be donating 20 per cent of the show sales and 100 per cent of the silent auction proceeds to the ALS Society of Ontario.
