26 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, October 14, 2010 Friday, Oct. 15 A huge thank you to the citizens of Halton Hills for acclaiming me to the position of Mayor for the coming term of office. Thank you for your confidence in me. I am truly humbled. It has been a privilege to have served you in this capacity since 2003. Halton Hills is an ideal town in which to live and, along with your Council, I have strived over the years to provide the level of services you want and can afford. I shall continue to devote my efforts to enriching the living experience of all Halton Hills residents. We have accomplished much together over the last four years. The Town Council, under my leadership, will continue to serve you well over the next four years. When we all work together as a community, not only do we accomplish much, but we also enjoy that special experience of being part of a great town. There is still a municipal election on Oct. 25th. There are many qualified candidates wanting to represent you. I encourage you to call them, read their brochures and above all VOTE.
