Comet Hartley is now in the sky and the group will attempt to locate the Comet for public viewing. The Planet Jupiter is also very bright in the sky with the moons around Jupiter clearly visible. There will also be a comet demonstration. The event will start at 8 p.m. and last about an hour. The event will depend on clear skies and hopefully the weather will cooperate. If there is cloud cover or rain, the event will be moved to another date and time. Members of the public that have their own telescope or set of binoculars are encouraged to bring them along.
