Photo by Ted Brown Young writers receive library awards for their summer writing efforts Halton Hills Public Library is happy to announce the winners in its Second Annual Ink Writing Project. This program allows young people in Halton Hills the opportunity to express themselves through short stories, poetry, and illustrated fiction. The Ink Writing Project is divided into two categories: Inksters (Grades 4-8) and Inklings (Grades 9-11). Twelve talented young people were presented their awards at the Georgetown Branch of the Library on Tuesday. They received copies of the Ink Writing Project booklet which collects their work, as well as $50 prizes sponsored by the Friends of the Halton Hills Public Library. The booklet is available to be viewed and borrowed at either branch of the library.
