Both are members of the Bearcats' varsity basketball team. Wint, who plays point guard, was selected for scoring 13 points and his great defence against Burlington Central. Christopher, a forward, was chosen for his four points and several rebounds against Bermuda's CedarBridge in an exhibition contest. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Kendra Blackbourne and Mackenzie Storey. Blackbourne, a member of the Rebels' wrestling team, was cited for her strong showing at the GDHS tournament, earning first place in the 61-kg class, as well as volunteering to help at the tournament. Storey, a shooting guard on the junior Rebels' basketball team, was chosen for being the team's leading scorer, before he broke his ankle. Christ the King Catholic High School Athletes of the Week are Jillian Borsuk and Mitchell Giroux. Borsuk, a setter on the Jaguars' senior girls volleyball team, was selected for her great leadership, setting and serving in a straight-sets win against Oakville-Trafalgar.
