The sound of Christmas carols filled the air as families toasted marshmallows, sipped hot chocolate, climbed aboard for horse-drawn wagon rides and enjoyed the infamous Downtown Georgetown hospitality. The afternoon started with a community carol sing with special guests Santa and the Acton Citizens Band. The festivities continued with good old-fashioned entertainment like horse-drawn wagon rides, gingerbread house decorating at the Acton Town Hall Centre and a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
