Arts Alive Awards, experts and networking is focus of third annual Cultural Symposium By BEATRICE SHARKEY Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable The Halton Hills Cultural Symposium, happening this weekend at the Acton Town Hall Centre on Friday evening (Jan. 21) and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 22), promises to be an abundance of celebration and learning. The event is hosted by the Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable, an umbrella group for more than 100 local non-profit groups. Friday evening sees local volunteers, groups and businesses honoured in nine categories with the Arts Alive Awards-- awarded once every five years.
