10 Independent & Free Press, Tuesday,January 25, 2011 Local citizens receive Arts Alive Awards By JANE FOGAL Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable A large and enthusiastic crowd gathered on Friday, Jan. 20 at the beautifully restored Acton Town Hall to celebrate the contributions of a host of Halton Hills community super stars. The Arts Alive Awards are presented every five years to individuals and organizations that have significantly affected arts, culture and heritage in Halton Hills and are administered by the Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable. The awards were presented by Mayor Rick Bonnette.
