Original songs from local musicians will be showcased in the second Songs for Supper album, a CD project that is a fundraiser for Acton's FoodShare. The first Songs for Supper album sold well over 500 copies, and featured an eclectic mix of music genres-- everything from folk, to hip-hop to rock. Organizers hope the judges and fans will be equally impressed with a fresh mix of local talent. "It makes us feel good of course obviously that people are interested in supporting the FoodShare in any way they can," said Arlene Humphreys, chair of the FoodShare board of directors.
