Woolford, a Grade 12 centre, had a pair of goals in a recent victory over Burlington Central and played well at the York University tournament. Dixon, a steady defender, also found the net in Acton's 9-7 triumph over Milton. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Madison Champ and Sam Bellman. A Grade 10 left-winger, Champ scored twice for Georgetown's girls' hockey team in a recent victory as the Rebels battle for a playoff spot. Bellman, in his third year on the Rebels' powerhouse swim team, will compete at next week's OFSAA meet in the 50m free, 50m fly and freestyle relay team after a strong showing at the GHAC qualifier. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are Rebecca Gardner and Hayley Kennedy. Gardner plays the power position for the Jags' junior girls' volleyball squad and was a key contributor in CtK's first-round playoff win over White Oaks.
