Applicants must have completed at least two years of university at the time of application. All applicants must be residents within the District boundaries or their parents normally reside within the District. The scholarship is for one academic year at a study institution assigned by The Rotary Foundation Trustees for study outside of North America. The Ambassadorial Scholarship program supports the mission of The Rotary Foundation-- to further international understanding and world peace. During the study period, scholars are expected to be outstanding ambassadors of goodwill to the people of the host country through both informal and formal appearances before Rotary clubs and other organizations.
