Police blotter: Disturbance leads to charges Halton Police were called to a Mill St., Georgetown townhouse complex about 5:10 a.m. Friday because an intoxicated man had kicked the door of a unit off its hinges, smashed a window in another door and damaged patio furniture. Police located the suspect nearby and arrested him. Two police officers were kicked during the arrest; they weren't injured. Ages 18 months to 5 years Police responded and stopped a driver on Maple Ave. at Market St. Charged with impaired driving and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is David Asselin, 52. ··· Mizuno golf clubs, bag and shoes were taken from the shed at a Sixth Line residence sometime late Friday or early Saturday. The value of the stolen items is $3,500. ··· A 2005 Pontiac Montana van valued at $3,000 was taken from a Steeles Ave. home sometime between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday. ··· Three portables at Sacre Coeur School were vandalized with paint balls sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday. ··· A front window in Main St. Video and Variety was broken with a beer bottle about 1:10 a.m. Friday.
