WRIGHT, Margaret Mary Marg passed away peacefully on Saturday May 7th, 2011, at the age of 90 with family at her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon Wright and five brothers and sisters. Marg's lively spirit and love of family will be greatly missed not only by her daughters Barbara and Judy but also by her sons-in-law Paul Skinner and Bob Lawday, cherished Grandmother of Heather Parker and adored Great-Grandmother of Alley, Robert and James Parker. Marg will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her in particular all her condominium neighbours at their parties. At the request of Marg, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, ON 905-8773631 at 1:00 pm on Friday May 13th, 2011. Visitation for one hour prior to the service, reception to follow. All Scotiabank branches will be hosting the third annual week-long coin drive at all 1,100 branches across Canada from May 14-21. Also, on May 18, Feet in Motion will be hosting the local Run4Change 2.5km/5km fun walk/ run at 6 p.m. Owner Brad Mailloux encourages not just runners to participate, but any member of the community who wants to come out to a fun, no pressure event. There is no entry fee, participants are asked to bring a donation or collect pledges. Run4Change is one of the largest kids helping kids events with all proceeds going directly to support school-based education and fitness programs both locally and nationwide.
