We kick off the month of celebration with the Annual Variety Show sponsored by the Drama Club. The date is Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m. Cost is simply a donation. A light snack is available at intermission. Come out for this funfilled evening of talent. On Thursday, June 16 we are offering a Demo and Try-It Tap Class at 10 a.m. Healthy snacks will be provided. Drop in and try it out. If there is sufficient interest it will become a regular class in the fall. Tickets are now on sale at Reception for our Seniors' Month Celebration Dinner on Friday, June 17 at 5 p.m. Cost is $15. The menu is roast beef on a kaiser, baked potato, salads, and dessert and tea/coffee. I just learned that the entertainment for this celebration event is the "Jukebox". You will remember them from the Volunteer Appreciation Tea at the Gellert. Fabulous dance music appealing to everyone. They are worth the price of admission alone. Last day to purchase tickets for the Celebration Dinner is June 10. The signup sheet for the Safe Driving for Seniors Seminar on June 23 is filling up. Don't miss this opportunity to acquaint yourself with the most up-to-date information and advance driving techniques, current legislation and how it all impacts you the 70+ driver.
