3 In Focus, June, 2011 $ENA2NQ?G.QHH A dozen local teams put their muscles to the test by hauling a 35,000-pound fire truck 50 feet down an Acton street on May 7. The Fire Truck Pull, hosted by Halton Hills Youths' Chance for Change, drew a big, enthusiastic crowd to Willow Street as they cheered on the 12 teams who were vying for fastest time. Team Acton BIA won the title ­ and a fun trophy ­ with a time of 16.07 seconds. The Fire Truck Pull, which raised money for the Off The Wall (Acton) and Open Door (Georgetown) youth centres, was held in honour of National Youth Week and International Year of Youth. Bravo!
