Local bibliophiles were up bright and early on May 7 to get the best selection of books at the annual CFUWGeorgetown Used Book and Toy Sale. Hundreds of people cycled through the Christ the King cafeteria to stock up on gently used books in a wide variety of genres from mysteries and science fiction to biographies and histories, as well as movies, music and toys. The sale, now in its 40th year, raises money for the CFUW's local scholarship fund.
